Family Letter about A-F School Evaluation

East Carter Families,

The Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) is preparing to release its new A–F School Grade Cards, which will assign letter grades to schools based on student performance data from the 2025–2026 school year.
We know this new grading system may raise questions, and we want our families to understand how these grades are determined and what they mean for our schools.

Please take a few moments to read the attached letter from Dr. Sullivan and our district administration team. It provides important information about the new grading system and our continued commitment to student success.

Thank you for your continued support of East Carter County R-II Schools. ❤️🖤
