FEMA Storm Shelter
The East Carter County R-II School District operates a Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) storm shelter on it's premisis. This storm shelter is to serve the students and community as a place of shelter in the event of a storm capable of producing catastraphic damage. The East Carter County R-II School district in cooperation with the Federal Emergency Management Agency has compiled a Community Shelter Actions Plan . This plan is to serve as the rules and regulations of the storm shelter use and maintenance.
