Welcome to the summer reading program, Sensational Summer Splash @ the Library!!  This page will provide information about the summer reading program that is taking place during the months of June and July in the East Carter Elementary Library.

Hello, My name is Norma Enochs, and it has been my pleasure to work for the East Carter school district for the last nine years in the Elementary Library.  We haven't to my knowledge ever had a summer reading program that has made the elementary library available during the summer months, but it has been my goal for many years to provide students access to the library during the summer so that they could continue to enjoy their reading experience all year around.  Thanks to a grant provided to us through the Missouri State Library, this summer we will have such a program.  I invite everyone to come by and visit, pick up a book, and enjoy an activity with us this summer.  Let's Make A Splash and READ!!
