Elementary Library Classroom Rule Guidelines

The Library is a quiet place; let’s keep it that way.

No throwing, sliding or general abuse of library resources is allowed.

All students will keep hands and feet to themselves at all times.

Follow the teacher's instructions.

Checkout Policy

o One-week time limit on books checked out.
o If the book needs to be rechecked, the student must bring the book to the library to be rechecked.
o Students are allowed two books at a time either one AR and one Library book or two AR books.
o The responsibility of the care and return of library materials are placed upon the student.  Any damage, loss, or theft must be compensated to the school.  The student is expected to notify the librarian to make payment for the materials.  In case of natural disasters or house fires the library will set aside the need for compensation.
