We share planet
Earth with millions of different animals. Animals come in different colors,
shapes, and sizes. Some, like insects, can fit in the palm of your hand.
Others, like the great blue whale, are longer than ten humans stretched
end to end.
You and your partner are
to research at least 4 different animals.
(that's two a
piece)
For each animal, draw
a picture of the animal and answer the following questions listed
below: (I will give you a handout to follow)
1. What is the
usual height of the animal?
2. What is the
usual length of the animal?
3. What is the
usual weight of the animal?
4. How many of
this type of animal are alive today?
