TASK:

You will work with a partner to research the major land forms found on our Earth, and created an illustrated book of these land forms.  You and your partner will then create a power point presentation of your favorite land form to share with the class.

Procedure:   
1.  Research the following land forms:  plain, mountain, hill, island, butte, plateau, peninsula, valley, isthmus, archipelago, canyon, cliff
Use the following web sites to complete your research.  Fill out your book pages as you research.

2.  When you have each finished your land forms book, turn it in to your teacher.  Then, choose which land form you would like to create a power point about.  Use the research and power point planning guide provided by your teacher to complete this part of the assignment.  The following web sites will help you.

3.  When you have finished researching your favorite land form and have completed the power point planning guide, you may start working on your power point presentation.  Your power point must include a slide for each of the following:

• Title Slide                                                                                    
• Description of Land form
• An example of land form/where it is located
• Plants & Animals found on or near land form
