My Life in a French Missouri Village
A Webbit Designed by Mrs. Crites

For this assignment you and your partner will travel back in time.
You both will be traveling back to about 1770. For two days you will live in one of Missouri's French villages. Just think of all the exciting things you'll get to see!

You'll get to see how they lived, what they ate, what homes looked like and how different cities such as St. Louis and Ste. Genevieve looked.  Be sure to take some paper
because you'll probably want to interview a few of the folks there. It is an exciting opportunity and you'll want to bring back as much  information as you can.  Many news channels, schools, and even Oprah, are sure to want to know all about your exciting journey! So, buckle up your time belt and hang on!

During your two day visit you'll be interviewing some of the
local people in the village.  You'll interview:
1 Frenchman
1 Frenchwoman
1 Native American
1 African American
1 Fur trader

Be sure to find out important information about their lives.  Others will be curious
about the jobs and relationships between the village people (do they get along?); also what does a French village look like?  How different is it from cities today?
What do the women do?
Bring back any pictures you can too!  I know the women
will want to know about the clothes, food, and homes they lived in so don't forget to
find out that information as well.

Good luck on your journey - don't forget you have two days to conduct
your interviews and to investigate the area.  Then, you will have
two days to compile your information into a power point presentation.
