"Striving
for a Brighter Future"
East Carter
R-2 School
CSIP/MSIP
Steering Committee
The East Carter
County R-2 School’s Steering Committee would like to invite
interested parents,
guardians, and community members to our monthly meetings.
Our committee
members gather together with food, conversation, and a common goal;
to be a part
of the work that helps our school be the best it can be for all our students.
East Carter County R-2 became an Accelerated School in 1999 and the Steering
Committee and it’s sub committees have been working since that time.
The Steering Committee is a group of persons committed to the vision of
the school.
OUR
VISION
“It is the responsibility
of the East Carter Co. R-2 School District, in partnership with parents
and community, to provide a safe educational environment for all children
which will foster
and accelerate their intellectual, physical social, and career
development in
preparation for the twenty-first century.”
The Steering Committee
is a place to work and create a strong, effective school that brings about
our vision for all students.
Again, we invite
you to join us. If you wish to be a member of this important and
effective group,
please call East Carter Co. R-2 School at (573) 322-8319, Option #8 (Special
Services Office) and speak with Carol LeGrand.
